Josh is a storyteller, visionary, leader, strategist and seller. He spent 21 years in the professional and amateur sports industry, driving meaningful revenue and relevance for the properties he worked for and those to whom he sold corporate partnerships. For a decade, the New Jersey native was a broadcaster, holding roles as play-by-play sportscaster, talk show host, reporter and panelist. His passion to connect like-minded brands has created tremendous results and compelling narratives. Josh has worked with national accounts including DICK’S Sporting Goods and Toyota, and regional brands such as Rady Children’s Hospital San Diego, Kings & Convicts and C3bank.

Why the name?

Well if we called ourselves Gross Group, you’d probably be turned off! Now that we have your attention, a gross is a group of 144 items, and it’s also the last name of our founder, Josh. He met his wife at a sporting event at Syracuse University. The storied number in SU athletics is 44, worn by legends Ernie Davis (the first African-American to win the Heisman), Jim Brown (pictured) and Floyd Little, among others. It was officially retired by the University in 2005, but it lives on in SU lore, the community and with its alumni.
